All Actions Have Consequences.

Due to my commitment to spare all living things from needless suffering, I must, in good conscience, remain a devoted meat eater.

Starving to death seems a good deal more unpleasant than a quick blow to the head.

  1. A friend of mine lived in western Connecticut on a two acre wooded lot with a burgeoning deer population due to CT's insane views on hunting. Whenever some bambi-lover type would start in on how cruel hunting was, she'd invite them to come watch the deer starve to death in her yard, since it was so much kinder.

No one ever took her up on the invite, and I don't think she changed anyone's mind, but at least they shut up for a bit.

  2. Consequences. We eliminate the predators (wisely) but then don't act as the predator which is necessary for balance. Misguided compassion. Always the way with liberal ideas.

  3. There was a great PBS series this winter last about how plants reacted to stimuli, recognized relatives, and engaged in many other things we attribute to animals, just at a slower rate. What those petards got against got against those plants?

    1. HAHAHA! Murderers!!! And it's even worse...they murder the most silent and helpless among us. It's kinda creepy when you think about it.
